SECRET ONE: Consciousness shapes reality.
Down through the ages, scientists, philosophers, and theologians have offered up varying explanations for human suffering. The most compelling and effective explanation I have found is rooted in this fundamental principle: on a universal scale consciousness shapes reality. As a smaller instance of this universal event, on a personal scale, my consciousness shapes my reality. The quality of my intentions, thoughts, feelings, and actions plays a vital role in my life experience and the conditions around me. Why is this so?
SECRET TWO:
Reality is a web of interrelated energies.
Although the answer has been given in many traditions over the centuries, the field of quantum physics has opened it up for us in the modern age. Through physics we have come to know reality as
nested layers of fields within fields. These fields are made up of many types of vibrations which intimately affect each other.
Total interdependence is characteristic of this fluidly energetic universe. What happens in any part or aspect of the universal field reverberates throughout the whole. Therefore, any intention, thought, feeling, or action has wide effects. Repeated intentions, thoughts, feelings, and actions have even more powerful effects. When many people repeat the same intentions, thoughts, feelings, and actions the
quality of the
whole field changes in fundamental ways.
There are many books which articulate this view in detail, our purpose here is to take the basic premise and apply it for maximal positive change.
If reality is interacting fields of energy, what is it that makes our experience positive or negative? What is it that makes for happiness versus suffering?
SECRET THREE: The smooth flow of the universal life force through you creates health and happiness.
In ancient China, sages and medical doctors studied reality as fields of energy. They realized that when energy flows smoothly in any part of the field, such as in a human body, that body experiences greater health, happiness, and well-being. They also learned that when energy flow is stagnent, divided, or in any way impeded, that body experiences illness, unhappiness, and misfortune. They discovered a universal life force known as "qi" ("chee"). When qi is integrated, aligned, and flowing smoothly, a person lives according to "The Way of Life." When a person falls out of alignment with the universal life force, there is conflict, disease, and death.
We will call the individual expression of the universal life force "core energy." Core energy is the flow of universal life force within each of us. It is "our qi."
You experience a Core Energy State when: 1) you become conscious of the universal life force within you (you feel your qi) and 2) it flows smoothly through you. Qi flow is smooth when your body, emotions, mind, and spirit are synchronized, integrated, and harmonized by the flow of the universal life force. When you experience a Core Energy State you feel a general sense of well-being. You feel relaxed, happy, focused, and inspired. You feel that everything is in its perfect order and all is well.
You can facilitate both your consciousness of core energy and the smoothness of its flow by adjusting your awareness, intentions, thoughts, feelings, and actions. Rather than being a victim of circumstances, you can participate in the creation of your life. Rather than being a slave to negative patterns, you can build positive ones. This site provides you the tools to take charge of your reality. Your life is meant to be a fantastic voyage of inner power, passion, and purpose. SECRET FOUR:
Daily Practice is your key to positive change .
Practice is:
the consistent repetition
of an intentional action
to realize your own-most possibilities.
When we recognize why we suffer and see what holds us back, why don't we achieve our goals? Sometimes it is because our negative habits are strong. To overcome personal obstacles that are ingrained in your body, emotions, thoughts, and intentions requires repeated positive actions to create what you want. To replace your negative habits you need to create stronger positive habits. Let the light outshine the darkness.
Another reason why we suffer is because we don't really know what we want. We often aren't aware of our own-most possibilities: what we are here to do right now. Knowing your own-most possibilities depends upon the quality of your core energetic awareness. Check out my Learn Qigong Meditation Program for meditations that develop your core energetic awareness. Also, in my latest book,
The Power of Practice, I explore this philosophy in detail and give specific instructions on how to live the life you are meant to live.
Through daily practice you can fashion the life of your dreams.
